This month Living Tenerife talks to Anup Aswani, son of the man behind the ‘Ideal’ jewellery shops where brand names like Rolex, Cartier and Omega roll off the tongue and onto your wrist.

Anup believes that a good watch “makes a statement about who you are” and naturally, he sports an elegant and expensive timepiece of his own.

For my part, I wear a watch that came free with a €2.20 bottle of wine, which is probably why Anup is where he is, and I’m sitting here blogging.
