Pinolere Craft Fair 5th, 6th & 7th September 2008There’s nothing quite like picking up a Christmas present for someone before the summer’s even over to make you think you’re on top of planning for the festive season this year, and the Pinolere Craft Fair this weekend (5th, 6th & 7th September) might just be the place to start.

You’ll be amazed at what gems are lurking behind and between the wicker baskets, embroidered cloths and jars of mojo at the hundreds of stalls that exhibit at this huge annual event.

Check out the jewellery, glassware and leather goods in particular and don’t miss some of the limited edition designer goods in exhibitions in the thatched huts.

Then, having secured a few select items, you can annoy everyone else with your efficiency and sit back until someone reminds you there are only 15 shopping days left to Xmas, at which point, you can launch into the usual frenzy of scouring websites for anything that’ll reach the UK on time.
